How to stay safe and what to do if something feels wrong
Your Safety is Our Priority
Timbre.Love provides tools to help you control your experience and stay safe. We encourage you to use them whenever something feels uncomfortable — you do not need a specific reason to block or report someone.
Open any match or conversation and tap the menu (⋮) in the top corner. Select "Block". The user will be immediately removed from your matches and will not be able to contact you or see your profile.
Open any match and tap the menu (⋮). Select "Report" and choose the reason that best describes the issue. You can add details to help us investigate. All reports are confidential and reviewed by our team.
Your voice clips are only shared with users you have matched with. Your location is stored to calculate distance but is never shared as an exact address. You can delete your account and all data at any time in Settings.
Every report is reviewed by our team. We may issue warnings, suspend, or permanently ban accounts depending on the severity. For serious violations we will cooperate with law enforcement. You will not be notified of the outcome to protect all parties.
Safety Tips
- →Take your time before sharing personal information like your last name, workplace, or home address.
- →Trust your instincts. If a conversation makes you uncomfortable, block the user immediately — you owe no one an explanation.
- →If you decide to meet someone in person, meet in a public place and tell a friend where you are going.
- →Never send money to someone you have not met in person, regardless of their story.
- →Be cautious if someone is evasive about video calling or refuses to verify who they are — this can be a sign of a fake profile.
If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services in your country.
